Blogs That I Follow
**UPDATED: 3/19/12**
I am a very picky individual when it comes to what I read when it comes to Christian writers. The chaotic condition of the Church and her million-and-one different doctrines makes it hard to find a good article that breathes life. It seems most are looking to have some deep theological study on the history of Israel’s exodus of the ninth Levitical reign of King David (totally just made that one up, but I’m sure you can see my point). So I wanted to give the people who read this blog (all 5 of you lol…kidding) some resources and other friends of mine that are pretty solid in their view of Christ as being all in all, supreme, and sufficient. Those too who have a vision God’s eternal purpose in the church (the Bride of Christ).
Most of these bloggers are part of “Organic Church”. So take some time exploring the riches that these brothers and sisters have shared and are continuing to share.
Be Real and I’ll be Real - Nathan Burgman
Searching Together (Blog) – Jon Zens
Beyond Evangelical – Frank Viola
The Rebuilders - Milt Rodriguez
Illuminate - Jamal Jivanjee
Straight Plow – Seth Roach
Ramblings of a Saint - Nick Brady
On the Safest Ledge - Marc Hardy
Experiencing Christ - Mark Lake
Three Water Pots - Jackie Dukes
Jesus Led Me - Lenny Manning
re:Think - Tobias Valdez
The King’s Presence – Peter Ski
John Wilson 3 Blog – John Scot Wilson III
Harvest of Pearls - Kat Huff
If your blog didn’t make the list then, seriously, don’t take it personally…please. I try to follow as many blogs as I can, especially the ones that read my posts. But it’s hard when you’re not a very good blog reader (like me).
If you find a blog that you like, then leave a comment on their blog, share them on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or any of the other social networking sites. We live in a time where sharing of information is so fast and so easy that it literally takes 5 minutes to receive it and pass it on to millions of others. Now I’m not real big on starting movements but we can change the landscape of Christianity by posting some of these Christ-centered blogs. So please, if you see your Lord in any of these blogs, then please do share.
Thanks for reading.

You’re right about a lot of the content the finds its way online. However, blogging is also about interaction, networking, friendship, etc. The social component can’t be ignored. I keep up with many blogs (especially close friends’ and family members’) not always because I’m inspired by their writing but because its an emotional connection with them.

Wonderful point, Jenny. I guess I’m not that type of blogger or blog reader. But again, that’s just me.

I’m not a great blog reader either, but I’m so glad to have your list. I will check and bookmark these so that I have a place to go for encouragement in this faith walk with the Lord. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings to you, Jamal!

Sorry for the mis-address. I followed the link from Jamal’s FB page and didn’t pay attention to your authorship, MIchael. So, blessings to you – via Jamal!
