Who is Jesus Christ?

He is the fullness of the Godhead, the firstborn from among the dead.

Within in Him lies all the fruit, wisdom, and knowledge.

He is our food, drink, gift, freedom.

All things were created by Him and to Him. He is all and in all things, for God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell within this Person, the Person of Christ Jesus.

He is above the angels. He is over all rulers and authorities.

Everything that is in heaven and on earth passes through Him.

He was the only One that could carry the weight of our sin upon the cross. He is the only truly spotless lamb. For His blood is the remedy to all human needs and suffering. Not only things on earth, but into the heavens as well.

He is the root of Jesse, the fulfillment of all prophesy. All prophesy and spiritual acts are to proclaim Him.

He was born of flesh on the earth to proclaim the Father.

The Spirit speaks of Christ and Him alone.

He is the only One to worship, to love, to know.

All that we need is in Him, the risen Son of God.

He is the visible image of the invisible God.

He has been given every title under heaven.

All of creation, the universe, animals, even rocks, groan for Him to be revealed.

He is the Alpha and the Omega. The first and the last. The beginning and the end.

In Him all things will be fulfillment at His appointed time.

Everything created speaks of Him. All Scripture speaks of Him. He is the Word of God, the Word made flesh who knew no sin, yet was tempted in every way.

He ate and drank among men, yet His true dwelling was in heaven.

He will have the final word in all things, He will be the final judge of all works past, present, and future.

He is eternal, outside of time, law, and space.

He is the definition of truth.

He is the Kingdom of God.

He is Jesus Christ.

Amen.

  1. Michael, This is a very good biblical statement regarding the subject of Jesus’ identity. He is all that you and the prophets and the apostles say he is, and more! If you and your readers would like a more secular statement regarding this subject, I invite you to see this statement “Who Is Jesus?” on my website. I think that it is an accurate and understandable introduction to Jesus, who needs to be more widely known by people in this mixed up world of would-be leaders and confused citizens who are seeking a savior. Keep the focus of your blog on him. He is “the light of the world”.
