“Music… will help dissolve your perplexities and purify your character and sensibilities, and in time of care and sorrow, will keep a fountain of joy alive in you.”
― Dietrich Bonhoeffer
I want to take a moment and introduce you to a close friend of mine, Blake Everett. He is a brother in Christ and a very gifted musician. His songs speak of his journey with Christ, and I think we can all relate to some of his songs (I know I can).
You may have noticed that to the right of the homepage there is a picture of his album cover (bottom of the page if you’re on a mobile phone). Feel free to click that photo any time to be directed to his page.
You can listen to all of his music anytime you are online for free, or you can download his full EP (5 songs in total) for $5.00 and $1.00 for individual tracks. ALL proceeds go to Blake. The awesome thing about his page is that you can listen to all of the tracks (as many times as you want) for free before you purchase the EP. And, if you’re short on cash, just listen and enjoy! It’s really not about the money here for Blake. It’s about the Lord, the art, and his music.

My personal favorite is the track titled, Adore. You can click HERE to be taken directly to that track. I featured this song at the end of my last post, Guilt, Shame, and Panic: Are they justified?, for I felt that this song really wrapped up the post nicely.
Take a listen and tell us what your favorite track is.
**Please Note: This is NOT a paid advertisement of any kind. I am receiving no financial or material gain, whatsoever, from mentioning Blake Everett in this post or on the side bar to this blog. I am simply supporting a musician that happens to line up with the topics discussed on this blog. Thank you. -Michael Young, 2013**
